Udhampur, Feb 14: In a bizarre incident the staffers at Toll Plaza Chenani attacked a Traffic Police Sub Inspector.
The injured SI has been identified as Vijay Kumar who have lodged a complaint against the four staffers of the Toll Plaza, who have been identified as Chotu driver, Rajinder Singh, Neeraj and Suresh. “A case under FIR number 17/2020 U/S 353/332 IPC has been registered at Chenani Police station”, sources said.
Victim of the hooliganism at Toll Plaza, SI informed, “There was long queue of vehicles at toll Plaza last evening, it was taking 20-25 minutes for vehicle to cross that area. When I asked them for hurry, they shouted at me to keep quite after some time they came at my duty room and attacked me, the drunken staffers of toll plaza also tore my uniform.”
“After that incident I went to Police station Chenani after medical at hospital lodged a complaint against toll plaza staffers”, he said.
SHO Chenani, Parmjeet, when contacted said that a case has been registered and soon the culprits will be arrested. |
