| GDC Samba organizes cultural exchange programme | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 14: Cultural Club and Department of Dogri, Govt of Degree College Samba organized a cultural exchange programme in collaboration with Northern Regional Language Centre, Punjabi University campus Patiala, Punjab.
Student of Both GDC Samba and NRLC, Patiala participated in this programme. A special performance was put up by cultural club, Cultural Exchange and Heritage club and Drama Club GDC Samba.
The programme began with the lightening of lamp by Principal Dr. Sushma Mahajan and other dignitaries. Fallowed by welcome address by Dr. Narsing Dass. The participants enthralled the audience with their wonderful performances through dance, poetry recitation and other cultural activities presenting their respective regions and cultures.
Dr. Ashok Kyumar Bhagat, the senior faculty member, in his proficient Dogri reflected upon the importance of such Cultural Exchange programme for building National Integrity. Principal Dr Sushma Mahajan appreciated the effort of Cultural Club and Department of Dogri and students of the college. The function was attended by Prof. Suman Bala and Dr. Balbeer. The programme ended with formal vote of thanks by Prof Pooja Sharma. All the programme was organized under the supervision of Prof. Shivali Rattan, convenor Cultural Club of the college. |
