2/14/2020 10:06:51 PM
Early Times Report

Ramgarh, Feb 14: A one-day awareness camp was organized in the village panchayat Keso Manhasa by the Department of Agriculture to inform the farmers about the schemes being run by the Central Government. In which the forms of making Kisan Credit Cards were filled on the spot of the farmers and they were made aware about the agriculture related schemes. On the directions of District Samba Chief Agricultural Officer Jahangir Shifi, Agriculture Officers Kishore Kumar, Deepak Bhatt and Anil Kumar reached the Farmers Awareness Camp on behalf of Agriculture Department. In which he gave important information about the Kisan Credit Card, an economic aid related to agriculture to about 70 farmers of the region. Agriculture officer Deepak Bhatt told that every type of information is being given to the farmers by the department to solve the problems related to agriculture. At this point, while telling farmers about the Kisan Credit Card Scheme, Agriculture Officer Kishore Kumar said that India is an agricultural country and a farmer has many needs from sowing seeds to plowing crops and selling them in the market. During this time farmers need financial assistance at different times. Before the introduction of the Kisan Credit Card Scheme, if the farmers needed any financial assistance to meet these requirements, then they depended on the landlords and other informal sectors to take loans.
