| JAC criticizes reservation in promotions | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 14: Joint Action Committee (General category) has criticized JK Reserved Category Empowered Alliance (JKRCEA) for advocating reservation in promotions.
JAC, JK General Category Welfare Forum today took strong exception to the alleged mis-information and smear campaign by the office bearers of JKRCEA, who are attempting to go to the extent of contempt of Supreme court for fulfilment of their illegitimate demand of seeking reservation in promotions.
JAC condemned the action of these self styled organizations, which have no concern with the down trodden class of society, who are real sufferers of apathy due to their economic condition irrespective of their caste.
"It is completely illogical on their part to seek reservation in promotions when already the matter has been dealt in depth by the JK High Court as well as by the Supreme Court", they said, adding that RCEA is seeking through pressure tactics, that it can draw favour from the government without any legitimate background.
