Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 14: Continuing the drive to provide better development and basic facilities to the people of Jammu city, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation Chander Mohan Gupta today conducted an intensive tour of ward no. 24, 28 and 29 alongwith Surinder Choudhary and Anu Bali councilors of ward no.29 and 24 respectively. They reviewed the development works of deep nallah flowing between ward no.24,28 and 29 at Rajpura near Shanta School & has been constructed at the estimate cost of Rs 2.75 crore by UEED as this was the long pending demands of the residents of localities of above wards since 70 years and dirty water enters in the Houses of the residents residing near the nallah during rainy season. Atul Bakshi Mandal Youth President BJP, Suresh Gupta, Naveen Bali, Makhan lal, Vinay kumar, Rita Devi, karan Sharma, Rama Sharma & other prominent residents of the area were also present during the tour alongwith O.P Thakur, Junior Engineer, Khajuria concerned AEE UEED and other field staff of JMC. Residents also putforth other demands before the Mayor regarding completing of left over portion of nallah, proper disilting of drains and better sanitation in their mohalla on routine basis, lifting of stray dogs/animals. |
