IMS launches plantation drive

JAMMU, Feb 14: A tree plantation drive was organized in the premises of Institute of Management Sciences, Jammu to celebrate the Valentine's Day on 14th Feb, 2020. The faculty and students of IMS, celebrate the day every year using unique perspectives on love and friendship. This year, the theme was "Love Thy Environment", wherein students of BBA, MBA and BCA participated enthusiastically in planting trees and beautifying the college environment. Prof. J. R. Dhotra, Director IMS, lauded the efforts of the students and encouraged them to be aware of their responsibilities towards environment and natural resources. Dean Academics, Dr. S. K. Gupta hoped that students will continue their efforts towards improving and conserving their immediate surroundings and become environmentally sensitive future corporate citizens. Chief Coordinator Er. Nidhi Jamwal along with the faculty of Management Studies and Computer Applications, provided full support and cooperation to the students who participated in this initiative. All together, more than fifty plants (flowering as well as medicinal) were planted at different spots in the premises during the plantation drive.
