Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Feb 25: Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Dr. Piyush Singla today chaired a meeting of revenue officers to review expunging of the illegal entries for State land, Kahcharai, Common & Forest land. The meeting was informed that the revenue department has expunged the illegal entries for 48500 kanal of state land, kahcharai, common land, forest land from the revenue record. Meanwhile, all Tehsildars of the district submitted affidavit confirming that no illegal entry is left in revenue record in their respective Tehsils. The DC was informed that 300 kanal state land, in Udhampur, and 400 kanal state land, in Chenani, has been physically evicted, while weekly schedule has been chalked out by all Tehsildars and submitted to ACR to carry out physical removal of encroachments. The DC directed the Tehsildars and Sub Divisional Magistrates to start anti-encroachment drive in a mission mode and ensure 100 percent eviction of state land, Kahcharai, common land, forest land. Among others, the meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Gurvinderjeet Singh; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Viqar Giri; besides Sub Divisional Magistrates, Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildars of the district. |
