JSS Jammu stages street play on ‘Swacch Bharat Abhiyan’

Jammu, Feb 25: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu undertook a cleanliness drive picking up an effective platform such as street Play/ Nukkad Natak” on the theme “Swacch Bharat.
A group of talented actors of Jammu Sanskriti School performed street play around the city as well as nearby villages to convey a message on social reality. The student’s along with the teacher incharge Dr. Geetika Sharma went to Bahu Plaza, Miran sahib & R.S Pura where they were highly appreciated and were supported by the concerned authorities present there. The initiative was taken by the school with the aim to motivate students to become active agent of a sustainable and healthy environment. They performed scenes depicting the general attitude of people towards cleanliness and how it causes damage to the environment.
This Event of Nukad Natak was well appreciated. At Bahu Plaza Director Jain Sabha Pawan Jain asserted that to achieve the goal of Clean India such events are of great magnitude & praised students for their excellent performance. At Miran sahib; advocate Dev Raj & Retd. Principal Subash Choudhary said that by such an exposure to the menace of littering; some forms of which are extremely hazardous fot the environment as well as human health need to be dealt with an iron hand. At R.S Pura Sat Paul & Ashok Gupta (counselor) fully supported the students for their effort towards Swacch Bharat mission and provide students with refreshments as a gratitude for their wholehearted involvement.
