JAMMU, Mar 6: Special Court rejected the bail application of Riyaz Ahmed Forest Guard, Devi Dass member of VDC and Shahbaz Ahmed who were arrested by the police in a militancy case.
According to the police case that FIR was registered vide Case FIR No. 268/2019 of P/S Kishtwar for the commission of offence under sections 13,20,23,38,39 UA(P) Act & 7/28 Indian Arms Act against the applicant- Riyaz Ahmed and others.
3rd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Subash C Gupta after hearing APP Sanjay Kohli for the UT observed that there is sufficient incriminating material / evidence, both, verbal as well as documentary collected by the Investigating officer in the matter for drawing a legal inference/opinion by this court that there are reasonable grounds existing for believing that the accusation against the applicant/accused. With these observations court dismissed applications. (JNF) |
