JAMMU, Mar 6: 3rd Additional Munsiff Jammu Jeewan Sharma rejected bail application of Pawan Kumar, son of Surinder Kumar of Bhagwati Nagar Jammu who was allegedly involved in fake appointment case.
Accordng to the Crime Branch the applicant has been booked in an FIR 11/2019 u/s 420/465/467/468/471/120-B RPC at Police station Crime Branch, Jammu and is in custody since February 6, 2020 and after expiry of the period of police remand, he has been lodged under judicial custody. Court after hearing APP Naveed Anjum for the Crime Branch observed that the allegations leveled against the accused are serious in nature and the recovery is yet to be effected from the applicant. While considering a bail application, the nature and gravity of accusations and the role of accused is an important factor and in present case, the accused has been alleged to have committed a fraud upon innocent unemployed youth only to extract their hand earned money and to accomplish his desire to earn money had prepared a false document. There is also an apprehension that the valuable evidence yet to be collected during the investigation may be tempered by the applicant, if he is released on bail.
