| Residents of Rajouri demand filling up of DPO, CDPO posts | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Mar 6: The residents of Rajouri have urged the Lieutenant Governor to fill up of posts of District Program Officer (DPO) and Child Development Programme Officer (CDPO) Nowshera under ICDS, which have been lying vacant for the last two years.
They said that District Officer Social Welfare has been given charge of DPO Rajouri and CDPO Rajouri has been given additional charge of Nowshera due to which entire functioning of both places has been suffering a lot.
“There is 40 kms of distance between Rajouri to Nowshera and officer had to travel daily to attend office which suffers functioning of many projects. There are many panchayats where anganwari centers are running have to face problem,” they said.
