| District Admin Rajouri expunges illegal entries for 53662 kanals Govt land | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Mar 6: On the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh and as part of a comprehensive exercise of audit and inspection of Revenue Records, the District administration Rajouri expunged illegal entries against 53662 kanals of Khechari, Common and Govt land. Assistant Commissioner Revenue,Mohd Ashraf informed that the work of inspection of all the Revenue Record specifically illegal entries recorded against Khechari, Common and state land was taken up to remove all such entries and to restore the lands to their original status.It was highlighted that 6199 illegal entries on State, Common and Khechari land have been expunged recently. It was also informed that illegal entries on 144014 kanals of state, Khechari and common land have already been expunged by the district administration so far.
All the revenue officers have been issued directions to conduct inspection of Revenue Records including Jamabandi and Girdwari on a routine basis for its upkeep and maintenance.
DDC said that a comprehensive audit of revenue record has been initiated in all Tehsils of the district. He said that the process of expunging the illegal entries is going on.He said the strict instructions have been passed to field officers to cancel all illegal entries from revenue records of Khechari, Common and state land. |
