| Employment Department sensitizes un-organized workers about PMSYM | | | Early Times Report
SAMBA, Mar 12: Employment Department Samba today organized a programme for upgradation of skill of un-organized worker at Deon Panchayat of Purmandal Block in co-ordination with Krishi Vigyan Kendra Samba. While addressing the farmer, Senior Scientist KVK Samba Sanjay Khajuria asked them to grow traditional plant & focused mainly on medicinal plant cultivation. He made them aware about the latest technique in the field of medicinal plant cultivation. He stressed upon them to form village Self Help Group and to grow the Aloe Vera plants to enhance their livelihood. Another resource person from KVK Samba Sourav Gupta discussed regarding pest management during the crop season and benefit of apiculture. Assistant Director Employment also made the farmers aware about their registration as un-organized worker and benefit of the PMSYM Scheme. Among PRIs member, Lamberdar & farmer of the area attended the programme. Later, registration forms and pamphlets regarding PMSYM Scheme were distributed among the participating farmer.
