VLCC to open skill development institute soon in J&K UT

Jammu, Mar 12 (UNI) Focusing on skill development, VLCC, an Indian beauty and wellness chain, would be opening its first institute soon in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
VLCC currently operates total 96 VLCC Institutes of Beauty and Nutrition in India and Nepal.
"VLCC Institute is a pioneer in imparting quality skill training in the beauty and wellness industry and a staunch supporter of the Government of India's 'Skill India' mission, they have already trained over 52000 students," Founder and Co-Chairperson VLCC Group Vandana Luthra told reporters here at a press conference.
Ms Luthra said, "wellness and beauty market size is over Rs 90,000 crore and the market is growing at a CAGR of 30 per cent, hence this industry is in a need of skilled manpower which also brings the opportunity for many to be a part of this fast growing industry and upskill themselves to take up entrepreneurship."
She further said, "VLCC is currently operating from six centers in the J&K Union Territory ? four in Jammu and two in Srinagar".
"We are also planning to add three more Wellness centers and three institutes in coming 18 months in the Union Territory," Ms Luthra added.
