| Education Deptt organises district level cooking competition under Mid day Meal scheme | | |

DODA, Mar 12: In order to promote and recognize the culinary skills in the cook cum helpers working under MDM scheme in School Education Department and on the directions of Mission Director MDM Sh Arun Manhas, a district level competition of Cook cum helper was orgnised at Doda wherein 10 Cooks cum helpers from 10 Educational Zones of Doda participated.
During the Competition all the participants prepared various types of dishes enlisted in the MDM menu for which the experts from health department evaluate all the preparations.
On the occasion, prizes were also distributed among the first three winners. Cook from the Doda zone got first prize and was awarded with the cash prize of Rs. 5000 whileas 2nd prize was bagged by Cook from Ghat Zone who got cash prize of Rs. 3000.
ADC Doda Kishori Lal Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion. CEO Doda and DEPO Doda along with all ZEOs were present during the program. |
