JAMMU, Mar 12: There is a resentment in BJP against the issuance of new list of State office bearers with some senior party leaders feeling totally sidelined after shifting them from key organisational posts and they have shown their total resentment against the decision of party leadership.
Sources said some leaders have even apprised the State party chief about the resentment against the decision and have stopped to visit State office since the publication of list from last two days. They have even conveyed their displeasure to senior leaders in Delhi sources added
Sources said the party general Secretary which is considered an important post in BJP's organisational heraricy does not find the name of any senior leader from Jammu district which for decades together has been leading the party as majority of State presidents and general secretaries have come from Jammu district right from days of Praja Prishad which was headed by Pt. Prem Nath and which later merged with BJP.
This is for the first time in the BJP history when Jammu district has not found proper representation in the party, sources added.
Sources said that perturbed over the brewing resentment in party State president, Ravinder Raina visited the residence of some senior leaders who are annoyed with the decision and we're not attending the party office for last two days to persuade them, sources added.
