Jammu, Mar 16: Recently promoted as inspector, in-charge of Police Post in Jammu city misbehaved with public during nakas under his jurisdiction.
Disrespecting respectable citizen he crosses his limit while conducting nakas. “it has been learnt that the officer, let go his friends and relatives if the violates rules, but targets others”, said Prince Raina an eyewitness, who himself faced wrath of the officer.
“I parked by bike roadside to answer a phone call, an officer stationed on naka at least 300 meters, came to me and challaned me without any reason”, he said, adding that had produced all the documents produced by me. Another victim of Inspector’s abuse of power Rahi Kapoor said that the officer has not adequate who to talk to people. “He used Pulsia language all the time without any reasons. We have no problem to produce documents if asked by any officer, but we cannot compromise our dignity”, he said, such officer should be placed away from the public and avoid any-kind clashes with Police and public. |
