Employees Joint Action Committee seeks fulfilment of pending demands

Jammu, Mar 18: A meeting of State Govt. Employee Joint Action Committee Union Territory of JK was held under the presidium of Sushil Sudan, Suresh Sharma and Subash verma Sr. leader of Committee to take stock of the latest Scenario as regards fulfillment of pending demands of employees of Government and PSUs.
The employees remained under “wait and watch” mode in view of the fact that the present form of Governatorial System of governs has to deal with many other important issues confronting state and extended full cooperation.
The leaders hailed budget of union territory particularly creation of 50,000 jobs with budgetary provisions. They urged LG. GC Murmu to now spare some time to address issues of employees pending since long. Repressive measures to muzzle voice of employees appointed under SRO 202 would not work. Most of the HOD of Govt. and PSUs have adopted indifferent attitude, no DPC s are held by them.
They demanded that Govt. Should immediately announce Health Insurance Policy, Release of 4% DA , Restructuring of JMC, Estate Deptt., and Govt. Ranbir Press, Regularized Daily Wagers, Scarping of SRO -202, Payment Salary as per 7th pay commission report and release of pending DA in favour of State Forest Corporation Employees, Closing of All Officers in view of Corona Virus temporarily. Representatives of various unions/ Associations participating the meeting Maheshwer Sharma, Jarnail Khokkar, KC Dubey, Manjoor Ahmed, Vijay Gupta, Rakesh Mangotra, Rinku Gill, and Master Farooq, Etc.
