Early Times Report

Udhampur, Mar 18: A government official working in the office of Chief Medical Officer at Udhampur concealed the information about his visits to foreign countries. After returning from Australlia and Maldives he immediately joined his duty.
Sources told Early Times that the official returned nearly week ago and did not inform anyone about his travel history. “The official remained in contact with many people in the CMO office thereby endangering all,” they added.
When contacted the CMO Udhampur, KC Dogra, informed that the official was quarantined on Wednesday. “He did not disclose his foreign visits,” the CMO added.
Other officials in the CMO office have expressed concern over their safety and demanded stern action against the erring official for endangering lives of his colleagues. “His wife and others in the office should also be quarantined,” they said.
The concerned authorities have moved the official to isolation ward in the district and have instructed others not to hide their travel history.
