DC Samba felicitates students of MV Int'l School

JAMMU, Mar 18: Mehak Rajput of class 12th Arts and Garima Slathia of class 11th Arts of MV International School received appreciation certificate and cash prize worth ?2100/- each from Rohit Khajuria, Deputy Commissioner (DC), Samba. These girls had represented the J&K Team in U-19 National Taekwondo Championship held at Guwahati. The certificates and the cash prize were issued by district administration Samba under Center Sponsored Scheme 2020 (CSS), Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. Kiran Jyoti, District Youth Service and Sports officer, Samba was also present during the event. School management congratulated the students for their achievements and inspiring the other girl students of the school to keep aiming high.
In the session 2019-20, total seven students of MVIS have represented J&K team for playing at National Level in various sports. Students namely Aryan Singh Rajput, 12th Arts represented the J&K Team in U-19 National Taekwondo Championship held at Guwahati and also represented J & K Team U-17 in National Volleyball, Mohd. Farhan, 11th Commerce represented J & K U-19 in Tennis Cricket Team held in Rajasthan, Ansh Khajuria of class 8th represented J & K Team U-14 for Artistic Gymnastic held at Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
