JKBOSE exams 2020 postponed, new dates to be out soon | | | Jammu and Kashmir Board of Secondary Education, JKBOSE has cancelled all Kashmir University UG and PG exams. All the exams will be rescheduled after March 31, 2020. The students can check the official website if they are looking for any official confirmation.
According to the sources the registrar of KU, Nisar Ahmad Mir has informed that the fresh dates will be announced as soon as they are decided upon, on the official website of the University. The universities like Cluster University in Srinagar and the Central University of Kashmir, CUK have also postponed their exams from today onwards till further notice.
The JKBOSE has not yet released any official notification as such but the local dailies and sources report that the exams have been rescheduled by the Board.
JKBOSE Exam 2020 postponed: Reason behind
The decision to postpone all exams has been taken after the district administration of Srinagar has imposed restrictions on public transport movement in the state and public gatherings in the state. The people of Jammu and Kashmir have to be extra cautious as they are closer to borders and are overflooded with tourists from all over the world.
The student's schools and colleges have already been closed due to the spread of the virus in the country. Many other universities in the adjoining states have also been ordered to be closed. The Local authorities have taken these measures after the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued an advisory regarding the control measures to bed taken for the spread of the virus. The Government of India after that requested all the schools and boards to postpone their exams and their classes to March 31 at least. |
