Vijaypur, Mar 23: Residents of village Nanga of Vijaypur staged protest against PHE Department for not providing water due to damaged motor of water pumping station.
The villagers expressed their anger by standing near the Tube Well with their buckets. Residents of Nanga, Neelam Kumari, Kulvinder Kour, Soma Devi, Aarti Devi, Manjeet Singh, Deepak, Sandeep, Rakesh Kumar alleged that the Tubewell motor in Nanga village has been damaged in the last one week PHE department seems to be sluggish in getting it fixed. People said that for the last one week, the village has not got water supply due to which people have to go to far-flung areas.
On this occasion, the people of the village demanded from PHE department that they should solve their water supply problem as soon as possible so that we do not have to deal with water problem. |
