Udhampur, Mar 23: Retired senior superintendent of police Mahadeep Singh Jamwal said that nothing in life is to be feared of Corona Virus, it is only to be understood.
“Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less and by adopting safety measures can be secure. The Centre Government has invoked a 123-year-old, colonial-era law, ‘The Epidemic Diseases Act 1897’ that empowers state governments/UTs to take special measures and formulate regulations to contain any outbreak, which has been historically used to contain the spread of various diseases” he said, and appealed the masses to abide by health advisories. |
