Jammu, Apr 2: An NGO, ‘THE – SARA’ led by its Director Dr. Raminder Jit Singh today distributed essential food items among 50 families of Kusht Ashram leprosy colony Bhagwati Nagar Jammu.
Relief package comprised of wheat flour, pulses, oil, salt, sugar, chilli powder, turmeric powder, tea, etc; benefitted more than 200 leprosy patients and their families. Proper social distancing methodology was followed during the initiative.
Continuing with its commitment towards cause and Society ‘THE – SARA’ under ‘Covid-19 Relief Mission 2020’ in coming days shall provide essential food items to more than 400 families, shall conduct Covid-19 awareness among masses in slums & rural areas of J&K and shall also provide Tele-Mental Health counseling to the recovered Covid-19 Patients. |
