Ramban police recovered stolen vehicle, accused arrested | | | Early Times Report
Banihal April 16 At this point of time when the whole world is dealing with a COVID 19 pandemic— Jammu and Kashmir Police is one among the many forces fighting multiple battles both at law and order as well as on Crime front— But this doesn’t take away the basic duties as well as the responsibilities they are meant for i.e prevention and detection of crime and safety and security of life and property of the public successful manage to arrest the person who was involved in vehicle theft. While divulging the details, Senior Superindent of Police (SSP) Ramban Haseeb ur Rehman inform that today , one Mohammad Naseem S/O Gull Mohammad R/O Ahama Khari reported at PP Khari that his Maruti Car 800 bearing registration number JK02AA 4429 has been stolen by some unknown person/s. After receiving the complaint, a case FIR No 59/2020 U/S 379 IPC was immediately registered at PS Banihal and investigation entrusted to Ranjeet Singh Rao incharge PP Khari. wActing swiftly Investigating officer rounded up some suspects of the area and on their disclosure, one Shabir Ahmed S/O Sitar Lone R/O Bhatebas Shagan was arrested from Nowgam Srinagar and interrogated. On his confession, the said vehicle has been recovered from Nowgam Srinagar. The accused is habitual thief and some more recoveries are expected in coming days. The arrest and recovery has been made by Inspector Ranjeet Singh Rao Incharge PP Khari guided and assisted by Inspector Aabid Bhukhari, SHO PS Banihal, under the supervision of Dy SP Ashish Gupta SDPO Banihal, Sanjay Parihar Addational SP Ramban under overall Supervision of Haseeb-ur Rehman SSP Ramba
