| ADC Ramban hands over immunity booster AYUSH medicines to CMO for distribution | | | Early Times Report
RAMBAN, APRIL 16: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Sharma today handed over the immunity boosting AYUSH medicines provided by Department of Indian System of Medicines to CMO, Dr Janak Raj for further free distribution among the frontline workers and volunteers of district.
District Nodal Officer ISM, AYUSH, Dr Masood Iqbal Zargar, Dy CMO, Dr Iqbal Bhat and other senior officers and doctors were also present on the occasion.
It was informed that many AYUSH medicines including 17 types of Ayurvedic and Unani medicines have been distributed among the people in the district during anti COVID-19 operation.
ADC exhorted upon CMO to aware the people about the efficacy of Indian System of Medicines in the time of pandemic Covid-19, especially among the frontline workers. He also advised them to maintain social distancing and follow other guideline as per protocol while distributing medicines.
ADC exhorted upon all the district officers to spread the efficacy of Indian System of Medicines in these times of pandemic Covid-19 among all the staff working at vulnerable spots.
He said that medicines provided by AYUSH offered a great help in reduction of respiratory disorders, increasing immune system besides also improves overall strength and vitality of humans. He appealed to the public in general and staff deployed in corona virus duties to use medicines of AYUSH and increase immune system.
