| Jagga seeks clearance of pending liabilities under MGNREGA | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Apr 19: JK National Panthers Party Senior Leader Jagdev Singh Jagga demanded to immediate release of pending liabilities of the construction works done under MGNREGA. While interacted with Media Persons, JKNPP leader Jagga said that from the year 2015-2020 liabilities of construction works done in Udhampur still pending in which most of them are offline liabilities which is the fault of technical wing of engineering wing. Jagga apprised that during the previous Government in which then CM Mehboba Mufti inaugurated the project Rahat at Modi ground Udhampur in which several bridges were constructed under MGNREGA. He said that current government alleges of violating the 60/40 ratio in construction work even the work was started after the approval of the concern authorities. Jagga said that during this lockdown vendors, skilled labour, small shopkeepers etc were suffering due to pending liabilities which is the dictatorship of the government. He said that government has sanctioned 183 cr to clear the liabilities of the year 2019-20 but the liabilities of 2015/16/17/18 are still pending which should be cleared soon, he urged |
