JAMMU, Apr 19: Youth wing of BJP Kashimir Displaced District today distributed dry ration and 100 masks among poor and needy people in Durga Nagar area. The programme was organised by Rahul Koul youth leader BJP KDD, Ayush Bhat secretary social media, Makhan Lal Bhat (vice president KDD) and Kaka Ji Raina in close co-ordination with Kapil Singh Chib corporator Ward No 64. Dry Rice, atta, oil, sugar and other eatables were distributed among 70 families including poor labourers.
In a statement issued hereby today, T.N. Bhat president BJP KDD, Vinod Pandita, Verender Sathu (general secretaries) of BJP Kashmir Displaced District were also part of volunteers team in the distribution following norms of social distancing. They stated that during this lockdown period due to COVID-19 Pandemic threat, all the social, religious and political organizations were playing their role in befitting manner. They have also appreciated the role of doctors, nurses, para medical staff, police and other emergency services being played by them during this crucial time braving all the risks and odds. |
