BMS demands permission for indoor construction activity | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 8: Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) has urged the LG to ease some restrictions on construction activity so that stranded labour may get some indoor work in individual buildings and building material shops be also allowed to open for this purpose. BMS leader Harbans Choudhary said that this way workers will engage themselves otherwise at present they have exhausted their all saved money and no ration or relief is being provided by the govt despite bringing it to the notice of administration adding that they are at the verge of starvation and needs govt attention toward this problem seriously as the migrant labour is losing patience day by day. It is also alleged that number of industries has not paid wages even for 8 days of march to the contract labour and it was also brought to the notice of labour department factories are running now employer just for publicity makes announcement for donating in PM Care Fund but failed to pay wages to their employees. |
