| JKTF holds meeting, highlights issue of transfers | | |

JAMMU, May 20: A virtual meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) central body members and the district presidents from Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban was held today under the chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria, State Chairman.
In the meeting, all the presidents including State Chief Organizer Jamait A Agah highlighted the issue of transfer of lecturers, masters, and teachers of the Jammu Division who have completed their stay of more than three or more years in different districts after their promotions and requested the chairman to take up the issue with the Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) for their repatriation . The shortage of Subject Specific and teaching staff in some of the schools was also highlighted. It was also discussed that rationalization of teachers should also be expedited on fast track as it is the need of the hour as most of the Primary and Middle Schools are clubbed. Chairman Ganesh Khajuria assured the presidents of all the Districts that their issues will be represented before the DSEJ.
