JK ReTTF seeks permission for volunteer service | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, May 20: Senior Vice Chairman of JK ReT Teachers Forum (JKReTTF) Bhupinder Singh said that the Education Department took a historic decision of introducing ONLINE classes for the students studying in government schools across the UT of J&K. The teachers fraternity owed this responsibility and worked round the clock to get the desirous results but while pursuing the goal certain factors came forth that are casting black shadow over this congenial programme. Non-availability of smart phones due to poor backgrounds of students, residents of low or no connectivity areas are some factors which are hindering our way to achieve the goal completely, he said. Keeping in view, JK ReT Teachers Forum wants to share its idea to tackle such circumstances. According to Forum, fraternity is comprised of dedicated and sincere teachers who wants to render their services voluntarily but restrictions imposed on them are confining them. It is sure that volunteers would follow the precautionary measures regarding COVID-19 if they are allowed to impart the education to local students.Singh said that we are hopeful that voluntarily service of teachers (following precautionary measures) would give pace to initiatives of the government. |
