UDHAMPUR, May 20: In view of the current grim scenario created by the deadly coronavirus pandemic, the Yugdhar Devsthan Development Trust have decided to cancel the forthcoming historic Annual Baba Yug Mela that was scheduled to be held on May 31 at Yugdhar in Tehsil Chenani of District Udhampur.
In a press release issued by Baldev Singh, president of the Trust, said after brief discussions with the Trust members, Sarpanchs of over 20 Panchayats, Civil Society members, religious leaders and others, it was decided to cancel the Mela. |
