NDPI express concern over condition of quarantine centres | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 20: National Democratic Party of India (NDPI) has expressed concern over the pathetic condition of quarantine centres in Jammu and Kashmir. According to press release, a video conference meeting of NDPI was held under the leadership of Joint Secretary Umesh Manhas. It was discussed that the travellers in transit camps were facing too many difficulties in the unhygienic and overcrowded quarantine centres without proper basic facilities like separate toilets, cleanliness, food & without maintaining physical distancing which was the main motive of these quarantine centres to assure no further transition of the deadly virus Covid-19. Manhas said that Government should keep these people in proper isolation and well equipped quarantine centres with adequate facility and proper distancing to ensure stoppage of this deadly pandemic. Organizing Secretary, Kuljit Singh was also present in the meeting. Others present in the meeting were Vinod Mattoo, Sanjeev Verma, Usha Manhas, Pawan Gupta & Dr. N.S. Thakur. |
