Continuation of In-House School in Gujjar Hostel demanded

JAMMU, June 8: A meeting of Gurjar Mahasabha was held under the chairmanship of Ch Rashid Azam Inqlabi, Vice President of International Gurjar Mahasabha. Speakers in the meeting said that Gujjar community at present is facing various challenges in J&K while migrating from plain area of Jammu to the hills of Kashmir valley where they will remain for six months along with their cattle. The speakers said that nomads in their migration face difficulties in getting fodder for animals and ration for human beings. A special package for nomadic peoples was also demanded.
All the members present in meeting passed a resolution requesting the Lieutenant Governor, GC Murmu to take personal interest and direct authorities to allow the in-house school to continue in Gujjar hostel in the interest of hostel inmates. They authorized Ch Rashid Azam Inqlabi to take up the matter with Lieutenant Governor and others.
