KALAKOTE, June 08: Department of Environment Science of Government Degree College, Kalakote, today organized a national level quiz competition under the supervision of Environment Committee and Principal of the college, Prof. (Dr.) Romesh Kumar Gupta.
The quiz with theme “Covid-19 & Environment” was aimed at to educate the students about the COVID-19 virus and preventive measures like hand hygiene, social distancing and related actions. About 189 students from various colleges and universities of J&K, Punjab, Delhi, U.P and Maharashtra took part in the competition. Principal of the college distributed E-certificates among those who secured above 70% marks in the quiz competition. Gul Raja Malik of HSS Budhal, Musarat of GCW Parade and Abdul from GDC Poonch secured 100% marks in the quiz competition. |
