EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, June 8: The Rehbar-e-Khel (ReK) Physical Teachers Forum has expressed its resentment over apathetic attitude of the government towards ReK teachers of J&K
ReK Physical Teachers Forum Mandi Zone president Imtiaz said that they are being subjected to psychological stress by the fact that they are being treated worse than the bounded labours. The 3000 Rehbar-e-Khel teachers who were appointed 18 months ago are living a miserable life as their families are on the verge of starvation.
He said that the Rehbar-e-Khel Teachers Forum has reached out to every possible authority for redressal of their grievances but all in vain. The association met with Lt Governor of J&K and Union Sports Minister Kiran Rijiju and Advisor Farooq Khan who assured justice to them. Subsequently, a committee was also constituted in this regard, but till date no positive step has been carried out, he added.
