NSUI demands postponement of AIIMS entrance exam | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 8: National Students Union of India (NSUI) has taken an exception to the decision of AIIMS to conduct PG entrance exam in such a short duration is totally unjustified and it will put lives of students at risk. National president of the NSUI, Neeraj Kundan said that the pandemic is spreading at a fast rate and in such a scenario it’s foolish to put the lives of medical students in danger. The exam center might take all the precautions but still no chances can be taken. On one hand we are appreciating the doctors treating COVID-19 patients and on the other hand torturing the medical students who’ll be future doctors by giving exams preference over their precious lives. The AIIMS should take an example from NCHMCT, JEE 2020 which were earlier scheduled to be held on June 22 but have been postponed again in the wake of widespread COVID-19. NSUI demands from the AIIMS to postpone the exam date and think about the lives of students.
