Jammu, June 17: The J&K Government on Wednesday extended the ongoing ban on high-speed mobile internet in the UT till July 8, deciding to restrict data speed to only 2G limits on mobiles.
Order in this regard was issued this evening by Shaleen Kabra, principal secretary Home Department.
These services will not be available on pre-paid SIM cards unless verified as per the norms applicable for post-paid connections.
