| MSK Rajouri conducts awareness programme with female Sarpanchs | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, June, 23: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Mohd Nazir Sheikh and under the supervision of DSEO and Nodal officer of MSK, Bilal Rashid Mir and in view of the COVID19 global pandemic, Mahila Shakti Kendra Rajouri under Anam Mirza, women welfare officer conducted an interaction cum awareness programme via video conferencing with 12 women Sarpanchs of various Blocks of Lamberi, Darhal, Dhangri, Panjgrain, Planger etc of Rajouri district.
The women Sarpanchs during the video conferencing highlighted women related issues and the problems of school dropouts especially in case of girls.
Women Welfare Officer, Rajouri also sought detailed information from women Sarpanchs regarding the welfare activities they are carrying out for the women in their Panchayats.
Replying to the above query, the Sarpanchs said that they distributed masks in large numbers and are generating awareness among the people in their area about the preventive measures that can be adopted to avoid the risk of Corona Virus infection.
The MSK team also urged the Sarpanchs to work towards the Swachhta Campaign in the areas and take care of the needy while maintaining the SOPs norms. |
