Rahul Bhagat murder case: One more accused held, claim police | | | Ashwani Sharma Early Times Report
Udhampur, July 8: Police on Wednesday claimed that it arrested one more accused in Rahul Bagat murder case. “The accused Mohammad Aslam was arrested by Udhampur police from Jammu,” police sources informed. They also informed that the investigation so far has revealed involvement of three persons in the murder case of which two have been already held. Rahul Bhagat was killed last week by the trio over a land dispute. When contacted Rajinder Katoch incharge SSP Udhampur informed that with the arrest of Aslam the murder case of Rahul Bhagat has almost been solved but the investigations are still going on. It is pertinent to mention here that the main culprit in the murder case Manish Singh son of Madan Singh of Dandiya is already behind the bars. Aslam a resident of Jojra Talab Udhampur and was doing catering work for the past four years. Tension had gripped the Udhampur town after the brutal murder of Bhagat in broad daylight last week. Balvinder Singh president of Doctors Association Udhampur on behalf of people hailed the work of police team under the supervision of Rajinder Katoch incharge SSP Udhampur as Rahul Bhagat’s murder case has been solved in a record time. He also appreciated the Police for solving the theft in Red Zone area by arresting all the burglars involved it. |
