MENDHAR, July 8: Due to the frequent closure of Tehsil Social Welfare Office here in Poonch district people of remote areas are facing severe hardships. The residents of remote areas such as Kalaban, Sangiyot, Kallar Morha, Giyar, Chhongan, Charun, Qasbalari, Gani, Balnoi, Mankote, Sagra, Balakote, Narol, Phatanateer , Chatral, Harni said that the office is often closed.
The people have accused the Social Welfare Officer and his staff of often remaining absent from the office adding that it takes a file years together to move from one table to another. Pesident Development Forum Mendhar Advocate Tanvir Iqbal Qureshi has demanded that DDC Poonch Rahul Yadav should take full note of the unwarranted closure of this office. SDM Mendhar Dr Sahil Jandyal said that he will look into matter.
