BMS to observe week long Sarkar Jagauo programme | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 22: Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh(BMS) Jammu and Kashmir has decided to hold week long protest demonstration as part of nationwide Sarkar Jagauo Rozgar Bachao campaign. The sector wise demonstration will also be held from 24 july to 30 July. It was disclosed by to media by Subash Verma state President BMS, while addressing media persons. In the first stage of the campaign, memorandums were sent to president of india and in nationwide campaign met with the M.P,s in their constituencies to apprise them. The central govt is doing ruthless privatization and suspension of labour laws. Harbans Choudhary senior leader of BMS alleges that during worldwide corona dieses Central Govt just to wooing the multinational companies with capitalist mindset approach is going to adopt anti-labour policies and is going to suspend all the labour laws and want to enhance 12 hour duties which constitute human right violations and trying to bypass the parliament and pushed state govts for adopting ordinance routes. “India is signatory of ILO Ratifications and 8 hour duties right is not granted by present govt but achieved through long struggle, the govt is not respecting the parliamentary democracy as govt is ignoring the tripartite consultations and also not giving weightage to parliamentary standing committees recommendations. the Govt is privatizing all the Profit making public sectors in the hands of private parties which are the backbones of the country and lakhs of employees are being rendered unemployed in the country systematically and giving unwarranted benefits to the big industrial houses”, he said.
