 Jammu, July 22: Salal Power Station has dedicated the newly constructed boundary wall of Government Middle School, Bakkal to the Village administration built under NHPC's Corporate Social Responsibility-Sustainable Development Scheme. This boundary wall built under the dynamic leadership & guidance of Shri N. Ram, General Manager (In-charge) Salal Power Station. The dedication event was inaugurated by Ashok Singh Thakur, Chairman, Block Development Council, Bhomag. On this occasion, Sarpanch of the village Onkar Singh, Panch, Lumberdar, Principal of the school and other dignitaries as well as officers of Salal Power Station, Shivani Bisht, Senior Manager (HR) and Rajesh Kumar, Senior Manager (Civil) were also present. During this entire event, along with maintaining social distance, all the guidelines related to prevention of corona virus were fully complied with. Shivani Bisht, Senior Manager (HR) informed that many other works are also going on under the Corporate Social Responsibility - Sustainable Development Plan of NHPC under the efficient leadership of N. Ram, General Manager (In charge), Salal Power Station.
In which development of rural areas, medical and sanitation, development of rural culture and education are at the priority. She has also informed that all the developmental works being carried out under CSR initiative are being monitored personally by General Manager (In-charge) Salal PS regularly and he is ensuring the speedy and Quality delivery of all the works undergoing in CSR. Talking about the field of education, various construction and repair works are going on in other schools in District Reasi viz. Government High School, Kundra, High School, Khairal and Primary School, Trentha etc. which will be completed and handed over to the Education Administration soon. |
