| Police solves burglary case, stolen jewellery recovered | | |

REASI, July 23: Police in Reasi solved one theft case which took place in a house in the intervening night of July 11 and 12. After the theft took place in the house of one Anju Devi, wife of Ramesh Kumar of Sai Narloo, the family first inquired from all at their own level but could not reach a conclusion.
On July 18, Anju Devi approached Police Station (PS) Arnas with a written complain on which FIR No. 62/20 was registered U/S 457/380 IPC and a police team from PS Arnas apprehended one person namely Deepak Kumar Sharma, son of Isher Dass of Dharmatha Kanthan Tehsil Arnas. During interrogation he disclosed that he has made this theft and has kept all the stolen goods at Dharmatha in the forest area near his house. Later Police took him to the spot disclosed by him and recovered the stolen items in presence of civil witnesses. The recovered items include 264 gram silver and 6 gram gold items worth Rs 38000. The whole operation was conducted by SHO PS Arnas Insp Rajesh Gautam under the supervision of SDPO Arnas Dr Satish Bhardwaj, Surjeet Bhagat Addl SP Reasi and overall supervision of SSP Reasi Rashmi Wazir. |
