Jammu, July 23: Sainik Samaj Party has appealed the government to shift the Lakhanpur toll plaza to Kashmir valley.
Colonel SS Pathania, President SSP appealed LG to shift toll plaza from Lakhanpur to Kashmir region and ensure justice to people of Jammu, who have been feeling deceived, agitated and frustrated.
“It is ironical that earlier toll plaza at Lakhanpur was closed by the BJP only. Chain of toll plazas will not only dissuade pilgrims visiting Amarnath and Vaishno Devi shrines but also adversely affect the religious and normal tourism across the UT”, he said.
