| Rajput Sabha disbursed financial assistance of Rs 3 lakh among widows | | |

JAMMU, July 23: Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha J&K has disbursed financial assistance worth more than Rs 3 lakh among poor and deserving widows during the year 2019-20. This was informed during a meeting of Executive Committee Members held here today at Raj Tilak Bhawan, Purani Mandi under the chairmanship of Kr Narayan Singh President of the Sabha. While reviewing the position of financial assistance provided to poor and deserving widows of the Community, the president informed that an amount of Rs 3,02,400 was distributed among the needy during the year 2019-20, adding that enrolment of further widows in this welfare scheme will be taken up. Needless to mention that among other welfare schemes the Rajput Sabha is having this scheme for providing financial assistance to Poor and deserving widows of community who have no source of livelihood.
The president apprised the members that Rajput Sabha has decided that widows (Poor/ deserving) of left out areas shall be brought under the ambit of the scheme very shortly. |
