Jammu, July 23: Open Online Competition of Folk Dances (Punjabi, Dogri, Kashmiri & Ladakhi) was Organized by Department of Punjabi, GCW Gandhi Nagar from 20th to 22th July, 2020. The Competition was conducted under the Patronage & guidance of the Principal, Dr. Sangita Nagari, GCW Gandhi Nagar and HOD Punjabi Dr. Surjeet Kour. Dr Kusum Assistant Professor Punjabi Organized the whole event meticulously. A big number of Students of different Colleges actively Participated in this event. The event was adjudged by Dr Davinder Kour Cultural Co-convenor GCW Gandhi Nagar, Yangchan Dolma Assistant Professor Department of Social Work, Eliezer Joldan Memorial College,Ladakh & Shashi, Dance Choreographer from J & K. In this event, Punjabi dance positions Janvi Sharma Semester 1st , GCW Kallar Himmati Udampur secured 1st position. & Jasleen Kour Semester IV GCW Gandhi Nagar secured 2nd position & The Third Positions was clinched by Sehajleen kour, Semester IV & Meenakshi Devi semester 1st, GDC Katra. In Dogri Dance Positions Komal Singh Patyal Semester 5th GCW Gandhi Nagar secured 1st Position. Nisha Kumari Semester IV & Pooja Devi semester II, GCW Gandhi Nagar secured Second Positions & the third position clinched by Poonam Devi semester V GCW Gandhi Nagar, Dheeraj Sharma semester II GDC Katra. In Kashmiri dance Binishpal Kour semester 4th secured 1st Position. A.V Himadari student of 3rd year Shree Lakshmi Narayana Ayurvedic College Amritsar. |
