Jammu, July 25: In a joint statement Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Coordination Committee and All India Manhas Maha Sabha has welcomed the decision of Lt. Governor and Administration for accord necessary approval for installation of statue of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur at Kunjwani Chowk.
While speaking on the Comrade Sukhdev Singh thanked S. Inder Singh Corporator and all other councillors for supporting the issue in General House meeting of Jammu Municipal Corporators wherein approval was accorded.
Comrade Sukhdev Singh and Thakur Harnam Singh Manhas said that the matter for naming the Kunjwani Chowk as Baba Banda Singh Bhadur Chowk and installation of statue has already been taken since long by the Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Coordination Committee led by Comrade Sukhdev Singh, All India Manahas Maha Sabha led by Thakur Harnam Singh Manahas and Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Foundation. |
