JKAP hails imposition of weekend lockdown in Jammu | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 25: Hailing the decision of the administration to impose strict weekend lockdown in district Jammu, the Jammu & Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) said that this step was necessary as there was sudden rise in Covid-19 positive patients and situation became alarming for general public. In a press statement issued here today, the JKAP leader Sanjay Dhar while expressing thanks to the DC Jammu for the weekend lockdown decision, appealed the citizens of J&K UT to follow the precautions and wear mask in public places. Dhar also requested the J&K administration to restore 4G internet service so that students, business class and common people get relief, adding that particularly it will be of immense help to the students of higher classes to take their online classes smoothly. Dhar emphasized on other issues too, that from the day one of lockdown to till present date every section of the society gets affected especially traders, transporters, MSME sectors, adding that every sphere has collapsed in this lockdown and in unlock restrictions. Those who are fully dependent upon the tourists are in worst situation now. Some relief package should be given to transporters, labours and media hubs so that they can survive in this toughest phase, said Dhar. |
