| GDC Vijaypur observes ‘World Hepatitis Day’ | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, July 28: GDC Vijaypur celebrated World Hepatitis Day today under the guidance of Principal Dr. Sangeeta Sudan by providing online health education and creating awareness amongst general masses regarding Hepatitis, its prevention and cure. The College also celebrated World Nature Conservation Day in order to raise awareness about protecting nature and conserving our natural resources.
An Intra College Digital Awareness Campaign on hepatitis and conservation of nature was launched by the college to inform and educate general masses about these burning issues. Students and various faculty members prepared digital Posters, slogans and videos for disseminating information and knowledge about both the issues. Slogans, digital posters and videos on hepatitis depicted the need to control the transmission, screening and control of viral Hepatitis whereas those on nature conservation emphasized the need of reducing, reusing and recycling natural resources to save nature. The enthusiasm of students and faculty was very high and they pledged to participate in such public welfare digital awareness campaigns in future too. |
